Last chrysalis of the season, #12. Female. Excellent size, healthy. Reared on common milkweed.

14 days in the chrysalis (summer butterflies took 10 days).

Sex ratio for 2022 reared butterflies was 50% male, 50% female.

Raising protocol: eggs or first day hatchlings only. Individual milkweed leaves collected, washed, and placed in floral tubes. Tubes arranged in test tube racks to separate frass from food for sanitation.
