16°c mostly cloudy with strong west wind @24/33 kmh, showers on & off.

Most roosts were in the exact same location as previous evening although some were less dense. Discovered a couple new clusters at Tip shuttle stop & a few more in trees on east beach. Strong west wind vigorously tossing around tree branches; monarchs are on east side of trees.
Decreased but still strong wind will carry through 9/27. They may be here another day. Hurricane Ian is looming south in Florida. We shall see if they cross the lake on 9/28.
South of Sparrow Field- 3 roosts totalling about 1150.
Shuttle stop area & no entry area- 7 roosts totalling about 700.
Above restroom- 2 clusters totalling about 200.
East side spread out- 10 clusters about 625.
Another 50 or so flitting about.
Observations by eye, binoculars, camera & clicker.
Observed one with wing almost torn completely off.
The rest appeared pristine.
