5 sub adult fiesty male rubythroats at 6:50 am barely light.

Started up going to feeder/Fiery, scarlet Hamelia, white honeysuckle, Turks cap. With those 2 on west side.

Then on north pergola hung feeders, potted plants side 3 started chasing. Then went to feeders along with plants of red, purple. Blue porterweed, rockin deep salvia, purple Skyscraper. Also went to purple Amistad gurantica that is about to dry up completely. Vermillionaire cuphea isn't blooming in this heat either.

1 adult incoming female was able to go to feeder last night when young ones finally settled down to roost at dusk. Saw her again at 7 am.

They are now, afternoon staying up in trees bc so dry and hot.
We need rain.
