Cape May had multiple roosts of 1,000plus butterflies this morning. This number may even be a bit low. Since it was chilly, they moved off the roosts onto trees and bushes to sun themselves. At about 9 am they all starting moving through dunes, testing the wind.. It was a sea of butterflies for a few hours.
