We saw at least 3 Monarchs on the hills of flowers at Gibbs Gardens today - most of the butterflies consistently prefer zinnias over cosmos. We've had no single big wave ... they were late this year coming thru to lay eggs and it's all happened in September. I have about 40 caterpillars/chrysalises and will post those separately. The last Monarch we saw in our yard was at dusk a couple of nights ago.
