Have not seen any hummingbirds since early last week (9/19/22). This is my first time reporting from this part of the country, so I'm not sure of the typical activity here. In northern Illinois, I observed hummingbirds at least through the end of September and even into the first week of October. Maybe this is not part of their migration route.
