We still have 4-6 of our resident rubies, one adult female and the rest juveniles. We've been having lots of travelers stopping by each day recently. Today, all the birds were even more active than usual in anticipation of tropical storm Ian, which is already sending lots of wind. Tomorrow is supposed to be far worse here and it's obvious the birds all know it. They are forecasting heavy, persistent rain and strong winds (35mph). It will be a rough day for our birdies and I'll worry about them. We will all be glad when it passes through.
