Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/30/2022

Number: 1

I wonder if an early season west Texas flyway has ever been considered. It is obvious on today's map that there are roosting monarchs in west Texas earlier than those in the Central and Gulf Coast flyways.
We have had reports in past years of monarch around Midland, Alpine, Big Bend. I propose that a west Texas flyway be considered. The Kansas monarchs and other mid-west state might be the origin of these.
