A few hummingbirds are here year-round, but they really began swarming our feeders and garden flowers on 9/11/2022. There were groups at every feeder. They are slowing down as of today, 9/30/2022, and I guesstimate 20 given how many feeders we have in use at once. They are feeding from Lantana, Mexican Cigar Bush, red reseeding Salvia, Pineapple Sage, and other red flowers. We have 3 feeders facing Northeast and 12 facing Southwest...all in the same placements for decades.
