I spent from about 1145 this morning to 330 this afternoon observing migrating Adult Monarchs near a Monarch Waystation Field in CCP near the Great Plains Nature Center Building. During this time I saw 60 or MORE adult Monarchs. They drifted thru 2, or 3, or 4 at a time at various time intervals. All heading south or southwest.

I and some helpers managed to tag and release 16.
The Monarchs were nectaring on Goldenrod, some Maximillian Sunflower and what I think is Boneset.

Winds light out to the south to southeast. Temps around 83.
