Looks like a female ruby-throated hummingbird at the zinnias. We had 2 in the garden today.

It seems that my gardens have become a way-station. Birds will come in, stay a day or 2 and then leave. I've been looking at them long enough to see the differences in appearance. They will also act differently around me. The 2 toady appear to be travelers.

September 29 was my last day of 2021...we shall see what day is our final day for 22.
