Number: 2

While taking the garbage out to the dumpster in the alley behind our house, just before the gate in our backyard by the small group of zinnias that came back from seed from last year, I came upon two monarch butterflies there. One was larger, and the second one was considerably smaller. They both flew immediately, however, I was able to go back in the house to get my camera and the big one had returned by then and stayed for quite a while. I was able to get my only Monarch photos of this year.
