I observed 20 (or so) adult Monarchs between 930am and 11am today. I tagged and released 5.

About half were nectaring on Goldenrod or Fall Boneset. The other half were resting in a grove of trees adjacent to the parking lot at the Great Plains Nature Center.

Light winds out of the south. Approx. 78 degrees. Sunny.
