APPEAR to be Buff-Bellied Hummingbirds, very active for months now, but more so now that Turk's Cap is so tall and lush. We had a much smaller hummer recently, 09/29/22 and think it was a Calliope, but need more expert eyes here. Our little lot is a wildlife habitat, though our City wants us to cut down "foliage." Today one hummer was perched on the Cedar Elm, a great native tree that hosts lots of critters.
I am a poor photographer with a cheap cell phone that takes slightly blurry pics, ... of already moving birds. Anyone is welcome to come take your own pics in our habitat.
