Oct. 5, 2022, Today, from 2:00 to 2:45 am a beautiful large female monarch was nectaring high up on my tall three Tithonia Mexican orange Sunflowers in my backyard. It was partly cloudy at 73 degrees and 6 mph. It was so unexpected to see and enjoy a late monarch migrating through so late in Cambridge, WI on such a beautiful afternoon. (Photo included)
