Counted 62 monarchs in 50 minutes while tagging, 6-6:50 p.m. They were feeding in the same alfalfa field, and flying north to south, as the past two days. Right now alfalfa is the most abundant food source as sunflowers and goldenrod are all senesced. Temp. was 74, wind was calm.
