Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/05/2022

Number: 5

We still have 6, + or - one or so. At least three of our "resident" juveniles (one male and two female) are still with us, as well as a changing number of travelers each day. The last of our juveniles have been fattening up nicely for their first migration. We will miss them dearly. We always really get to know the last juveniles with us each season. Our 3 year old daughter is already a huge fan of "her" hummingbirds. We spend a lot of time observing them and name each one. These last 3 this year are Percy (male) and Willow and Gidget (the 2 females). God speed to all the sweet hummingbirds. Please keep your feeders up, fresh and clean, for a couple more weeks. Lots of these precious jewels still on their way! Temps are dropping quickly this year.
