Chisholm Creek Park-Wichita, KS

Saw 6-9 Monarchs today. I observed 6-8 of them between 9:45 and 10:15 this morning. I came back this afternon for 20 minutes at 3PM and saw 1.

All were nectaring on Boneset or Maximillian Sunflower.

Light winds out of the NE all day. Temp this morning was around 70-75. This afternoon was 82.
A cold front is coming thru tonight with a forecast of NE winds 15-20 mph. Highs in the low 60 to mid 60s tomorrow.
