Three different classes of our homeschool cooperative participated in this ticket! High School graphic design student butterflies were to utilize the design principles of Proximity, Alignment, Repetition, and Contrast and the design elements of Line, Shape, Texture, and Color. Middle School and Upper Elementary studied symbolism though the work of Yocelyn Riojas (DACA protest poster artist) and by learning about Visual Metaphors for their Personal Characteristics. They all feel like they have symbolized themselves in their pieces and look forward to "meeting" other students through this symbolic migration.
