Watched for an hour. Saw approximately 40-45 adult monarchs.

I was able to count each monarch that passed, as they were not flying in mass. They were flying southward. They were flying about 20 feet above our home. (We have a single story house.) The time of day, was mid afternoon. The weather was warm, a bit breezy. There is a small lake that would have been on their path. We walked to the lake to see if they were stopping, but saw none. I had one photo of a monarch on our grass.
