We have a new hb migrator. She came in yesterday on the 7th. Yesterday and today she only stops at the flowers to feed and does not touch the hb feeders. She acts like she has never seen a hummingbird feeder before...and maybe she hasn't. I don't expect her here long, the day she flew in the temp was down to 34 degrees that night. Out of all the paths she could take when migrating, it's amazing how she found our yard.
The other two hb's here, one was here a few weeks now, the other one almost that long. They are a male and female. Those two feed regularly from the feeders, but more so from the flowers. Those two do act like they will leave any day.
