My husband saw this butterfly on our butterfly bush about 2:00 today. It seemed to be in very good condition. We think it's a male and the individuals we've seen in recent days on this bush have been (we think) female. We have never had several days in a row of sightings at our home and we are thrilled. We are also sad because our bush is nearly empty of blooms, and the recent butterflies have seemed to be quite hungry, feeding for long periods.
