This is one roosting in a pecan tree. We tagged more 200 today. Roosts found in pecans, pines, red oak, mimosas, desert willows, live oaks. This pecan is by a pond. Second night of massive roostings. By and large, the monarchs are healthy. Mild temps, slight breeze. A rain shower during the night. Bright sunny day. Monarchs began leaving early afternoon. More arrived midafternoon.
