Monarch male in my Peoria, AZ pollinator garden. 10-12-22, 3:05pm, 95-degrees, clear, calm. Nectaring on Lantana, and quite active. Considerable wear, bird bite to LT wing, RT wing appears damaged as well, hole in lower LT wing edge and wear to the wing surface. Suspect a long-traveler, the damage does not slow him down at all. Many Queens and other butterflies in the garden, Have had Monarchs the last several days, sometimes more than one at a time, not always able to capture photos. All males so far.. but just glad to see Monarchs!!
