These three Monarchs were some of the last of a massive roosting to head south this morning. Am so glad I had witnesses and fellow-taggers yesterday to experience the thousands of monarchs that filled our trees. Otherwise, few would believe this incredible migration. By noon today, most were gone. This evening I counted 12 monarchs. Tagged one. Sigh.
