Another uptick in flyovers at the Nature Center was observed yesterday along with an increase in Monarchs roosting at the Prayer Garden location. Monarchs gathered on 4-O'clocks, hackberry trees and a pecan tree. Observed and photographed at 6:15pm with others still arriving. They were gone by 10:00am today 10/13, having arrived in numbers on Saturday 10/8.
This is an annual roosting area.
