This male monarch has been here since Wednesday. We have seen him try to leave a few times, but the weather is keeping him held back. We watched him head out south from our yard today and return right away and land in these cedars. This was just after 1:00 p:m. I checked a few minutes ago and he is still hanging there at 4:20 p:m. High today was 11C and winds gusting to 52 km/hr at times. Waystation #13039
