Sun 10/16 Rainy morning and only 2 monarchs in our yard for couple of hours midday. Photo is from earlier in the week.
Tues 10/11 thru Sat 10/15 consistently 2-5 at a time from an hour after sunrise until sunset. Mostly in Tithonias with occasional stop at nearby Gregg's Mistflower. Noticed one with curled upper right wing and one spent night by itself on the east side of a nearby birch tree 15 ft up.
