Single Black-chinned Hummingbird female visits our nectar feeder, 7:40 & 8:20 A.M., 10/06/22. This is (apparently) our last hummingbird sighting of 2022. Nighttime temperatures are now consistently below freezing at this site. During the past 15 years, our hummingbird sightings have typically ended in early October.
