We had ruby-throated hummingbirds in our yard every day from 1 August 2022 through 14 October 2022 (usually at least 2 or 3 per day, one day we counted 5). The photo is of the one we saw on 14 October 2022. We have not seen any ruby-throated hummingbirds since then, but we saw a Rufous/Allen's hummingbird on 14 and 15 October 2022 and a buff-bellied hummingbird 16 October 2022. We have not seen any hummingbirds since 16 October 2022, but are hopeful that we might get winter residents this year.
