Just one, they love the purple flowers I took care to spare when clearing brush, just for the bees and butterflys. This year so far I've only seen the one, but I am sure that is because this year most of these flowers (weeds. :) ) are further from the house. I saw butterflys constantly there for the last 2 months, but too far away to make a positive ID.
Last year, the flowers were much closer to the house, I saw several monarchs stop by on their way South, got some good pics and video (and a flock of hummingbirds that roosted high up in a tree, stayed for 3 days, then were gone)
