Finally! My first monarch visitor of the migration season. Just one for now. Feeding on cowpen daisy in the afternoon.
I usually have cowpen daisy throughout my ranch this time of the year. However, because of the drought, we don’t have as much this year. This monarch is feeding on a patch that I’ve been able to keep watered. It’s so dry here. Sadly they don’t have as much to feed on right now.
