Our first enclosed monarch of the season.
We never saw a Monarch in our yard. Yet the first 6 instars were lost to a heatwave and predators.
15 eggs and instars collected and raised in our butterfly enclosures. We hope that all 11 chrysalis' 2 instars and and 1 Jay will eclose and fly away as nicely as our Monarch today.
