Bald eagle hunting in our yard. Dove on a cat. We’re seeing him almost every day. They are no longer an unusual sight in our area. They are often seen hunting farm fields. This was the first time I’ve seen them dive at a cat in the yard. After missing it, the eagle tried to land on top of a nearby spruce tree, but it wouldn’t hold his weight. The cats have stopped sunning themselves in the yard, and move from bush to bush. We do seem to be missing one of the feral cats we feed.
