This was such a surprise. This monarch seemed to have a bit longer shape but he went so quick I couldn’t really tell. It was hanging around a little but there are not many flowers left any more since we have had several hard frosts. I still have raspberries, a few California poppies, a little lantana. That’s about it.
I feel blessed to have seen this monarch as I was gardening, the day was in the mid 70’s, around 3pm.
