At South Llano River State Park at Junction, Tx (Kimble County) this morning at 11:00 a.m. My count is probably low as it appeared the Monarch's probably had a small roost in tall, shady pecan trees not far from the river. The trees were right over a good (2 acre) patch of Cowpen Daisy, which all the Monarch's were nectaring on or hovering over. Perfectly still, overcast and warm morning.
