Reported by Don Davis: Kate Walsh spoke with this writer about a monarch she spotted in her back yard on October 25h in the community of Wairton, towards the south end of the Bruce Peninsula. A very late sighting. Another notable feature of this town is the Wiarton Willie Festival and Wiarton Willie, the albino groundhog who purportedly predicts the length of winter every Groundhog Day.
