This morning at 9:15 I saw this male with a small part of his lower wings missing in my back yard in Tempe, AZ. I was able to capture him and tagged him BX364 with a tag from Southwest Monarch Study. This afternoon around 1:30 I saw a female lay an egg on Tropical Milkweed in my yard but I was unable to capture her. It was a nice sunny day with temps for 68 in the am to 80 in the afternoon. Very little wind all day.
