[Contacted observer for more information about this observation; additional information contributed by observer, added by Journey North, 11/03/2022]:

I live on the very northern part of the long beach peninsula in Oysterville Washington, we have the Willapa wildlife refuge right next to us and the Ocean on the other, we feel extremely privileged to be in the middle of both the bird and marine migration, our property sits on the north end of a lake that is a heaven for every kind of Bird and spend every day at the ocean hoping to see a magnificent Sea creature , we have seen three Wales, Sea Lions almost every day and porpoises. I have three hummingbird feeders and will see male's and female coming through every day, it's hard to tell the difference between Rufus and Anna's ,we have both. I understand the Anna's will stay All winter if they have a good source of nectar, I hope to give them that.
