Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 11/06/2022

Number: 3

In late morning I saw two monarchs nectaring in a strip of white heath aster near Black Mountain Primary School. Also saw one in late afternoon flying overhead.

A friend saw 2 in Asheville (15 miles to the west) same day. Possibly a small late group coming through our area. Temps unseasonably warm in high 70s.
