Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers

Date: 11/09/2022

Number: 1

I was pretty surprised- no camera in my hand. This is by far, the latest I have every seen a hummingbird. It was about 5 feet away off my deck. My last sighting was Oct 25. This looked to be a female or juvenile male-no red coloring. It was Nectaring on red jewel salvia in my pollinator pocket. We have had a spotty frost but no killing frost yet. So I have left my flowers out and blooming for butterflies and bees. There were also pink lady butterflies and clouded yellow sulfur butterflies along with honey and bumble bees.
