For past 3 days a hummer was answering the Rufous calls I do in evening/tweeting like crazy unseen, right before dusk. This is out under pergola with all blooming nectar plants. Then never see it during daytime. It zoomed in front of my head 2 evenings before dusk. But yesterday afternoon around 4, one zipped past the window where inground 10 foot tall Scarlet Hamelia is.

Way too hot in 80's in that if a Rufous doesn't care to be seen. That is the behavior of past Rufous here.
