At 6am this morning, after an overnight rain storm, I found my butterfly (previously reported) drying wings. It didn't have a good place to move to from the basket I'd attached it to, so I moved it to still blooming Lantanas that would be getting sun. Last day of warmth to get it on its journey home. It dried wings and moved several times in the bed of flowers and dried milkweed and each time I told it that it had to fly "home". Finally when I checked shortly after 1pm, it was gone!
The end of its story here starting on September 29th. Hopefully, not the end of its story yet? I'll never know.
