Our juvenile male rufous is still with us, spotted at both front and back feeders throughout the day. His gorget is filling in nicely with color. Today, he interacted with me at one of the feeders, approaching as I was just a few feet away. He was too shy/scared to perch, but fed for a good minute, hovering from one port to another and squeaking at me the whole time. That was a treat. He is a cutie. :)
