Last two weeks - bathing in our small habitat - in drought stricken CA Sierra Nevada foothills @ 3000'.
Unknown if the same birds day by day or even hour by hour, mostly Robins mixed with occasional hermit thrush and bluebirds crowd the trash can lid splashing out the contents. Have not seen the usual cedar waxwings who have come with Robins in past.
Fresh water is the magnet. Our Chowchilla river, middle fork is dry.
Shelter - Water - Food are present - berries of native Toyon and some pyracantha in area.
