Sightings report image

Date: 11/28/2022

Number: 1

We had a male Rufous come in on 26th after it finally stopped storming for 2 days straight. He flew into river birch tree, then maple tree Saw bright orange on his sides when changed trees. Zipped down in bad wind gust to heavily blooming purple gurantica.

Haven't seen him since and noticed neighbor across street put out a feeder on hook in blooming butterfly weed at this time.

Yellow warblers are coming to heated Christmas lights feeders overwintering also.(attached photo)

I guess male adult Rufous is trap line feeding or departed. Still watching out.
