This is the first non-rainy day that I have counted no monarchs on my census run, since I began for the 2022 season on August 1. So it is time to declare the migration season for monarchs in Cape May Point NJ finished. There will be a report on the season when I get the data from our taggers and census takers, but a general observation is that this season was very slow compared to the last several.
