The Anna was back this morning but couldn't get anything to eat because the holes on the feeder were frozen despite it being a heated feeder. Thankfully my husband was watching her as she went from hole to hole trying to eat. When she left he went out and cleared the ice out of the holes, and continued to do so the rest of the morning. He also traded out another unheated feeder through out the morning. Thankfully we were watching the feeder at 1:00 when she returned and was able to eat. At first she just turned her head from side to side, we think she was resting. Then she ate and ate! Thankfully it was sunny as it helped warm the feeder. We didn't try to get a picture of her as we didn't want to risk scaring her off. The picture was taken yesterday. We got down to -4 last night with a high of 10 degrees today. It was 0 degrees when she arrived at 7:15 a.m.
