Today we counted eleven monarch larvae at Google. Most were quite mature but surprisingly we saw two youngsters (one shown here). We also saw one egg. It has been cold recently but there is an abundance of leaves on the ground to help protect them. Today was warmer, 60 degrees and sunny.
