Monarchs overwintering colonies in El Rosario and Sierra Chincua show wonderful concentration and stability. In spite of the historical hard winter conditions in US and the start of intense winter events in northern México, Monarchs overwintering fir forests have just experienced their first winter days this past weekend with only moderate rain, average zero centigrades overnight and mild frost and sleet of which hardly a signal remained this Monday morning. Though chilly, beautiful sunny days prevail and visitors, both local and international, increase in numbers at the season having reached its splendor and unique December beauty.
